About the Event
Join the Short Years team for Empowered Home Visiting, a full-day professional development training designed to strengthen skills, confidence, and effectiveness in home visiting work.
This training will take place on April 29 from 9:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a 90-minute lunch break. Lunch will not be provided but there are several great lunch options nearby. In the morning session, staff will focus on goal setting with families.
Never heard of SMART goals? This training is for you. Already doing SMART goals and still seeking tips to make goal setting more meaningful? This training is also for you! We go beyond the SMART goals to discuss how a family's culture and coping styles can impact their goal setting. We also incorporate real life goal setting scenarios, with practical tips to help everyone move forward.
