Diaper Bank
The Short Years Diaper Bank provides diapers to any qualifying families experiencing need in Warren County. The Diaper Bank also serves qualifying Parents as Teachers families in Dallas, Madison, Jasper, and Marion Counties.
Why a Diaper Bank?
The Diaper Bank meets a critical community need. Consider these stats:

1 in 2 US families needs help paying for diapers.

Infants need up to 12 diapers per day, and toddlers about 8.

Disposable diapers can cost up to $80 per month per baby.
Families already struggling financially have difficulty keeping diapers in stock for their little ones. With your help, we can alleviate this financial strain and make sure our community's most vulnerable citizens have these most basic needs met.
How to Get Involved
Drop Off Diapers
Diaper donation receptacles are available at the following locations:

Warren Co.: Short Years Main Office, Indianola Public Library, Norwalk Easter Public Library, Carlisle Public Library, and Milo Public Library.

Dallas Co.: Short Years Dallas Co. Office
We will continue to add donation sites throughout the counties we serve. If you have an idea for a donation site, let us know!

Need Diapers?
Monthly Pick-Up
The Short Years Diaper Bank is available to any family living in Warren County who meets the income requirement and to qualifying PAT program participants in Madison and Dallas County. Diaper pick-up is every month on the fourth Thursday between 8:00-11:00 a.m. AND 3:00-6:00 p.m. Registration is required every month.
A few things to note:

Eligibility begins prenatally at 32 weeks and can continue until the child reaches 4-1/2 years of age.

Only a parent or legal guardian may register for diapers; however, you are encouraged to arrange for someone to pick up on your behalf if you unable to attend the set pick-up day/time.

The Diaper Bank makes every effort to accommodate diapers sizes Newborn through size 7, although availability is limited to stock on hand.

We are not able to accommodate requests for specific brands or training pants.

This program is intended to be supplemental, diapers distributed may not meet all your diaper needs.
